Turning Activities to Experiences

 EstudyaNTREPRENEUR:

Harnessing Young Minds: Turning Passion into Profit, Education to Innovation

The EstudyaNTREPRENEUR event is a platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills in various fields such as cooking, selling, hand and foot spa massage, electrical maintenance, computer-related works, and vegetable gardening. This initiative highlights the fusion of education and innovation, empowering young minds to transform their passions into profitable ventures.

The objectives of the event are the following:

  • To develop students' entrepreneurial mindset and practical skills.
  • To promote hands-on learning experiences that apply TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education) concepts.
  • To encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in business-related activities.
  • To inspire students to pursue future careers or businesses in their respective fields.

Visiting different TLE areas and seeing the dedication of students in their chosen fields was truly inspiring. From hands-on demonstrations to interactive activities, the event was a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment. Capturing pictures of each TLE area also allowed me to document the hard work and passion of the participants.

Overall, EstudyaNTREPRENEUR was an incredible experience that reinforced the importance of skills development, innovation, and teamwork. It was a reminder that education is not just about theories but also about applying knowledge in real-life situations, turning ideas into opportunities.

Not The Best, But One of The BEST!

The yearly celebration of the founding of Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) is a significant event that honors its rich history, fosters school spirit, and recognizes achievements. It strengthens unity among students, teachers, alumni, and staff while promoting traditions that make ISNHS unique. Through cultural performances, competitions, and recognition of outstanding individuals, the celebration inspires future generations to uphold the school’s values and strive for excellence, reinforcing its identity and commitment to quality education.

Final Wave

Throughout the final quarter, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in various aspects of technology and networking. I learned how to use MS FrontPage to design and create web pages, which helped me understand the basics of web development. I also discovered the different types of networks, including LAN, WAN, and MAN, and how they function in connecting devices. Additionally, I gained knowledge in making an RJ45 connector, which gave me a deeper understanding of network cabling and how proper wiring affects connectivity.

However, I also encountered some challenges along the way. One of the difficulties I faced was understanding the proper steps in crimping an RJ45 connector, as even a small mistake in arranging the wires could lead to connection issues. Another challenge was grasping some of the technical terms related to networking, which required extra effort to fully comprehend.

To overcome these challenges, I practiced crimping RJ45 connectors multiple times until I became more confident in the process. I also reviewed my notes, watched tutorials, and asked for clarification from my teacher and classmates to better understand networking concepts.

Moving forward, I will continue to enhance my skills in web design and networking by exploring more advanced topics and practicing what I have learned. I will also remain open to new learning opportunities and challenges, knowing that perseverance and continuous learning will help me succeed in the future.

As this quarter comes to an end, I want to express my gratitude to Maxwell for the unforgettable memories, the shared laughter, and the support we have given each other. We have learned and grown together, and though this chapter is closing, the bond we have built will always remain. May we all continue to strive for excellence and achieve our dreams. All was well, Maxwell!

Aviation or Engineering?

Fifteen years from now, I see myself as a dedicated professional in the aviation industry, either as a pilot or an electrical engineer. If I become a pilot, I will be flying aircraft across different destinations, ensuring safe and smooth flights while experiencing the thrill of being in the skies. My passion for aviation will drive me to master the skills needed to navigate various challenges and responsibilities that come with being a pilot.

If I pursue electrical engineering, I will be working on cutting-edge technologies that enhance aircraft systems, communication networks, and power efficiency. I envision myself contributing to innovations that improve aviation safety and performance. Whether designing advanced electrical systems for aircraft or troubleshooting technical issues, I will be committed to making a positive impact in the field.

No matter which path I take, I see myself as a highly skilled and accomplished individual, continuously learning and growing. My journey will be shaped by determination, perseverance, and a passion for excellence. Through hard work and dedication, I will achieve my dreams and inspire others to reach for their own goals.

Equal for Everyone

Gender equality and inclusiveness are not buzzwords; they are the pillars of an equal society. The theme "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" emphasizes that attaining real equality is a common endeavor.

When equal opportunities are provided to women and men, society grows. Everyone has equal access to education, jobs, and positions of leadership, promoting innovation, economic development, and harmony in society. An open society ensures that no individual is debarred by discrimination or stereotyping, and every individual can develop his or her full potential.

But gender equality is not simply policy and law it begins with us. It begins with how we treat one another, what opportunities we provide, and how we support each other. By standing together, we can overcome barriers and create a world where work ethic and ability, and not gender, dictate success.
