The First Wave of ICT

The First Wave of ICT

The first wave or the first quarter of ICT has come to an end. I can’t say if it’s easy, I can’t also say if it’s hard but the important to me is the lessons I learned and the memories I unlocked during this journey. In this quarter, I learned many things including the timeline of the internet which helped me recognize the rapid pace of technological advancement, the challenges and breakthroughs along the way, and the potential future directions of the internet. Another, I learned how to create a blog account and also publishing some things. Additionally, I learned on the uses of the internet, the different data types and protocols. Lastly, I learned how to use a proper citation which will help me to avoid plagiarisms.

In this first journey I also faced some challenges. Using proper citation for me at first is tricky. Another is the lacked of time finishing the activities, by the many school works to do on other subject and I can’t find some time to finish some activities in ICT.

To overcome these challenges, I focused on improving my time management by creating a weekly schedule and breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps. I also set aside focused time for ICT activities, ensuring steady progress while balancing other schoolwork. This challenges did not stop me from continuing. I used those challenges as a defense and motivation on the challenges I will be facing.

On my next journey, I will continue to expand my knowledge and to learn more.  I will use the learnings and challenges as a shield on the struggles that is coming. I will also improve my time management and apply the skills I’ve developed to complete tasks more efficiently.

Together For The Planet

The best approach is involving the communities into active lifestyle concerning environmental health, and the effective collective action requires protecting and caring for the environment. Education marks yet again as the starting point. Tree planting activities, clean up drives and awareness campaigns on the need to avoid wasting anything, conserving energy, and embracing green habits would lead to the desired long-lasting changes in a community. These educational programs also tend to enlighten people about the outcome of their daily activities and boost them to design the green practices.

In addition to education, direct community action is a reasonably substantial influence to foster environmental responsibility. Clean-up programs for public areas including beaches enhance the communities' local environment while instilling in people the appropriate manner of proper waste management. Another is tree planting programs, it does not only enhances communities local environment but it can also serve as an exchange of the trees that they are cutting.  These combined effects help members bond towards a common purpose while strengthening ownership of the surroundings. People become committed to long-term environmental protection when they feel a result from what they do in their direct environment.

This can be done lastly by communities themselves. Communities can actually have a role in advocating the passage of environment-friendly policies. If communities unite to advance friendly-environment legislations, such as using less plastic, renewable energy, and more green spaces, then communities might have something to boast of long-term policy alterations for the protection of the environment. This advocacy concerns an agenda both at the local and governmental level, thus creating a scaffold for all in living a sustainable way.

Just remember even if how small your action, you can start changing the world. We clean and plant a tree so that we can live an environment happily.

My Teacher, My Hero

We celebrate this National Teachers Month 2024 with the theme "Together4Teachers." Once again, in this context, we stand reminded of the very weighty work of changing the minds and hearts of those shaping the next generation. They are educators, mentors, guides, and models who are passionately committed to grooming that young mind and instilling those essential values for life.

The efforts they undertake, the hard work they put in, and dedication that they show transcend the four walls of the classroom, inspiring every student to achieve their best possible potential. They are part of a nationalist movement that designs the lives of the influencers of the society directly or indirectly through their character and values.

A month is dedicated to our invaluable gift to teaching, and we express all our gratitude for their efforts. In addition to that, let's jubilantly celebrate their zeal for educating, enthusiasm for learning, and unwavering commitment to the future of our country.

Towards a More Fulfilling Life

Toward a More Fulling Life

Success and personal fulfilment have today become the battle cry of most people in today's fast-moving world. Be it career objectives or personal fulfilment, the never-ending pressures to obtain these sometimes end in feelings of hollowness and discontentment. All these result from the way society places much value on materialistic wealth and success in determining individual success. Most of them happen to run after all these goals at the cost of their inner improvement and relationships, which are so significant in making one's life prosperous.

Thus, as more become aware of this growing concern, a new trend of going back to what is important spreads.
Such activities as mindfulness, self-reflection, and living intentionally have been gathering more adherents in an attempt to get in touch with one's inner self. These practices prompt people to slow down,  what is unfolding in the moment, and encourage thankfulness. Additionally, there is a vital appreciation of acquiring relationships through fostering family, friendship, and community because these establish emotional security and belonging-ingredients for the good life.

But the fulfilling life does not come without its challenges along the path of attainment and sustainability.
One of the biggest challenges is breaking the mold of societal expectations that surround us about what success should be. Sometimes, an upward spiral of more and more-money, recognition, and things-becomes hard to break when it seems that most of the world around us is judging us on those points. Besides, the daily pressures of life-make them include work demands, financial responsibilities-are those that may easily daunt one from paying more attention to inner fulfilment rather than external achievements. Despite these, a life full of more meaning is achievable through conscious effort and commitment to personal growth.

Do I Know Myself?

  Do I Know Myself?

Hi I’m Kurt Rainier, have you ever wondered who you are or who am I? This is mine, other people or especially my friends calls me extrovert, but they don’t know that I get shy easily and fears getting embarrassed. I am also their listener and adviser, I am good when it comes to advising and listening. Other people can’t see that, but it’s okay to me, it’s okay that others can’t see what I’m doing to them. The important to me Is I’m helping others. I love having many friends, I also love when they compliment me. I am kind to all people, but if you did something that can mess up my identity, you’re now a stranger to me. I think I am doing better, I think I can handle my problems, and I think I’m improving.

I can develop myself or my confidence by practicing my public speaking, by practicing how can I be better in good way of communication in making friends. I can also improve myself by not getting easily embarrassed and setting up the mindset of thinking “nobody is perfect”. My mother also advised me and she said “just be you”, meaning don’t adopt other people way of talking, moving or the way they act, in tagalog they call it “ugali”. My mother also said “if you want to be the best version of yourself, just be you”. Now I am using that advice to be the best version of me.

I will continue to embrace these practices and strive for constant self-improvement. My future plans will be, first I will seek out opportunities for further education for my knowledge and skills. Second, I will establish long term goals that align with my passions and aspirations. Next, I will prioritize my health and well-being by continuing to develop and maintain healthy habits. Lastly, I will stay open to change and ready to adapt new opportunities and challenges arise. By committing to these future plans, I am confident that I will continue to grow and thrive. How about you? Do you know yourself?
